Zapier Integration
With the Zapier Integration add-on, you can enhance your Learning Management System. It will help you to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and create personalized learning experiences effortlessly.
Requires
Configuration
- Login or sign up to your Zapier account
- Click on the Zaps on the right-side bar.
- Click on the + Create > New Zap.
- Click on Trigger.
- Search for Masteriyo trigger from the available Triggers and select it.
- You will then need to select an event from the available list of the events. There are events for actions involved in Masteriyo like completing course, publishing course, completing lesson, completing quiz and many more.
We will choose Student Registration for example.
- Now, click on Continue.
From here, you will have to connect the Trigger to Masteriyo. For this, click on the Sign In button.
Here, you will need the following two things.
- Site URL: Enter your site's URL.
- API Key: You will be able to find this API key from Masteriyo > Zapier, back at your site's admin dashboard.
Once you enter the site URL and API key and click on Yes, Continue to Masteriyo. The account will then be connected to the Zap. Please note that you can add multiple account from here. Click on Change > Connect a new account.
- Click on Continue.
- Click on Test Trigger.
- Select required items from the available record and click on Continue with selected record.
Now, you will be able to select Actions from the available list. We have chosen Gmail for example. We will be sending email to an address every time a student is registered.
- Select Send Email in the Choose Event section.
- Click on Continue.
- Sign in with your gmail account.
- Click on Continue.
- Input required data on the given fields like, to-email, from-email(select from the available list), subject, etc. On the Body, you can select the students details from the available list.
- Click on Test to confirm the action.
- Click on Publish to publish and start the trigger.
Now, whenever a student registers on your site, you will receive an email on the to-email address you have set in the Action.
