Masteriyo Documentation
Masteriyo LMS documentation: publish your first course, take your first payment, enroll students, issue certificates, and fix what is broken.

Masteriyo is a WordPress LMS plugin for creating, delivering and selling online courses. The free version includes a built-in order system with real payment gateways, quizzes and certificates — you can take your first payment without buying a plan.
Pick the job you are trying to finish.
Install and set up
System requirements, installing the free plugin, activating Masteriyo Pro with your license key, turning on add-ons, and a tour of the admin dashboard.
Publish your first course
Create a course, add sections and lessons, set pricing, then publish it and check how it looks to a student — end to end, in one page.
Take your first payment
Currency, checkout fields, tax, and the payment methods included in the free version: offline payment, PayPal, Stripe, Mollie and Lemon Squeezy.
Enroll students without checkout
For internal training, classes and cohorts: add a student to a course by hand, or sell seats in bulk with Group Courses instead of one order per learner.
Issue certificates
Build a certificate template with the drag-and-drop builder, add student fields and a verification code, then attach it to a course and preview the PDF.
Manage your license
Log in to the Customer Dashboard, download the latest Masteriyo Pro build, and fix the “license key has reached the activation limit” error when you move site.
Something is not working
Blank or broken pages, students who cannot log in, course access problems, certificates that will not generate, and emails that never arrive.
Try it without installing
Spin up a temporary WordPress site with Masteriyo already installed, so you can click through the admin and the student experience before touching your own site.
