How to create a course with a subscription option?

#Overview

Recurring payments allow you to monetize your expertise through a subscription model, ensuring consistent revenue while giving learners ongoing access to your materials. The Recurring Payment feature allows you to sell your courses on a subscription basis (e.g., weekly, monthly, or yearly).

#Requirements

• Masteriyo Pro Plan: The recurring pricing feature is available in the Pro version and above.
• Stripe Payment Gateway: You must have Stripe configured to handle the automated billing cycles.
• SSL Certificate: Your site must be secured with HTTPS to process recurring transactions safely.

#Setup and Configuration

Once you have configured the Stripe gateway, you can create the course with subscription by following the steps below:

#Step 1: Access the Course Pricing

• Go to Masteriyo > Courses and select the course you wish to set the recurring payment.

• Click on the Settings tab.

  

• Click on the Pricing tab on the left sidebar.

  

#Step 2: Enable Recurring Payments

• Set the pricing option to Paid.
• Then, click on the Recurring option.
• Configure Billing Details:
  • Subscription Price: Enter the amount charged per cycle.
  • Billing Frequency: Choose Per Day, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
  • Subscription Length: Define if the plan should Never Expire or end after a Fixed Amount of cycles.

#Step 3: Save and Publish

• Click Update or Publish to save your pricing settings and activate the subscription on your course.
